Great to have this one place for dumpster diving once again. Helps a lot, especially now when I’m broke. | Yup. | (scrabbling the lock)
Now just unscrew this and – we’re good! | You’re admirably silent with your deeds – no clatter or noise. | Mmm. I just want this place to be open tomorrow as well. (organic waste | gas)
Empty, empty, empty… | Bingo!

The joy of the dumpster diving

The loot was even greater than I could remember…
an eggplant | box of tomatoes | bag of european “wet rye bread” | bananas | shitload of norwegian salmon

I think part of the thrill about dumpster diving is the feeling of returning to the ancient forager time, when humans gathered food from nature for themselves. | Nah. The best thing about dumpster diving is the feeling of being able to cheat the system.

I know that this is like the uppermost latest hour to announce this (But I very much suck at self promotion), but I’ll be selling my comics at Tampere Kuplii Comic Festival, here in Tampere, Finland tomorrow and day after. You can find me at Pienlehtimarssi, Väinö Linnan aukio 8, Työväenmuseo Werstas, Galleria Bertel.
Pienlehtimarssi is open from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday (5th of May) and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday (6th of May).
Please do come and say hi. I’ll be lonely if you don’t.

① What is this age-old owl thing? Well..l ② I have no clue where it started. Maybe wild owls just raised me as their own and… ③ Just accidentally dropped me during a flight to my current parents. ④ Maybe I just felt so alone and abandoned that I started surrounding myself with all this owl stuff. ⑤ Maybe owl is my totem animal? My guidance? ⑥ Will they come to take me home one day? ⑦ (Is there a secret meaning to all of this?) AN OWL… UGLY… BEAUTIFUL… WISE… STUPID… EVIL… GOOD… ME.
